About Me

Community service is a cornerstone in my life.

I proudly call Newbury Park my home, where I’ve grown up surrounded by its beautiful open spaces and parks. I graduated from La Reina High School, California Lutheran University, and continued my studies earning a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. As a result of my education, I’ve developed a strong foundation in public service, data-driven decision making, and financial management.

I apply these skills daily while serving on the City of Thousand Oaks Traffic and Transportation Advisory Council and during my time on the Thousand Oaks Community Funding Review Committee. Professionally, I hold a prominent position in the Finance and Accounting Department of a Government Defense Contractor.

I’m excited to continue to serve my community as a board member of the Conejo Recreation and Parks District, Division 5. My priorities are clear:

    • Respect our open spaces
    • Ensure safety and accessibility in our parks and trails
    • Prioritize good governance practices

I’ve witnessed firsthand how our parks enhance our community’s well-being, and I am committed to preserving these spaces for future generations.

I look forward to speaking with you about what you love most about our Recreation and Park services and how we can continue to thrive!

Our Priorities

Respecting Open Space

I am dedicated to safeguarding our open spaces. This includes prioritizing fire hardening measures and proactive trail maintenance efforts. Through these initiatives, I aim to preserve our natural landscapes while enhancing safety and accessibility for all residents and visitors alike.

Accessibility

Ensuring safe and accessible community parks, trails, and recreational services is essential for promoting healthy lifestyles and fostering a vibrant community. I am committed to ensuring these spaces remain accessible to all residents, enhancing our quality of life.

Good Governance

My commitment to progress centers on establishing financial stability, ensuring long-term viability, and consistently enhancing our community’s quality of life. This includes implementing data-driven local policies that prioritize transparency, efficiency, and good governance practices.
